This Sunday, June 30th from 3-8pm is the Food Truck Fair in Uptown. No worries – if you attended last year and found it chaotic, this year they have made many changes. There is no entrance fee, and twice as many food trucks as last year.
There will be 29 food trucks this year selling a wide variety of foods as well as craft beers, specialty drinks, water and soda. Food trucks are becoming increasingly popular in the Twin Cities and this is a great chance to get out and see what they have to offer. If you can’t get your fill at the food trucks, you can always stop in some of the local bars and restaurants.
Another change this year is that the event is a bit more family friendly. Face paintings, a games area, Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream, and a hands-on kids art exhibition by Gabrielle Slow, will all contribute to a new, fun, and exciting atmosphere that all family members will feel comfortable attending. As far as food, there will be hotdogs and hamburgers available.
In addition to the food trucks, there will be free live music and the Mozaic Art Park has created an experience area. Please come and enjoy Paulette Bakery, Mini Putt Putt 9 Hole Course, Milk Mart Ice Cream, among other items.
Come on down! Bring your family and your friends, and enjoy!
