The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Have you been to the Minnesota landscape Arboretum?  If you haven’t you need to take a trip out there.  The arboretum has something to offer year round and for everyone in the family.  Hours and events vary seasonally but aside from Thanksgiving and Christmas they are open every day of the year.

The gardens are, by far, the most popular site at the arboretum.  There are 1.137 acres of public gardens including 32 display gardens and 48 different plant collections.  The arboretum has over 5000 different plant species.  Visitors can walk through the gardens, take a tram or go by car.  There are free public tours offered as well.

The arboretum also offers many different events, in the fall there are apple and pumpkin events, there are holiday events starting mid November, plant events in the spring and so much more.  It is a great place to go for new ideas and also for educating yourself, family or children on various topics.

There is an admission fee or you can purchase a membership.
