Tour Target Field

If you know me very well, you know I am not a big major league sports fan so it may come as a surprise that last week for my client event I hosted a tour of Target Field.  It turned out to be a fabulous outing and I think everyone really enjoyed it.

Target Field offers regularly scheduled public tours and you can also schedule private tours for your own company.  We had about 100 people show up so they divided us up into 4 groups and we all headed into the stadium for the tour.  It is best if you tour on a non-game day as you have much more access to all the areas.  The tour normally runs about 1 1/2 hrs but our tours lasted about 2 hours and those 2 hours just flew by.

The tour is very thorough, and if you have not taken the tour there are so many things about Target Field based on baseball that you would miss!  You tour the different club and box seat areas, the Budweiser Deck, the press boxes, the dugouts, the visitor locker room, batting cages, see where all that beer for the stadium is stored and so much more.  There are pieces of history throughout the park in various cases and hanging on the walls.  Did you know that if you are sitting in the Champion Club seats behind home plate you are closer to the batter than the pitcher is?  Learn many other fun facts about baseball, the players and the stadium as well.

Food and drinks are not allowed on the tour, you may take all the photos you want, but no videotaping.
